STORY OF THE WEEK
Google drops a wave of Gemini 3 upgrades
Google just rolled out a huge batch of Gemini 3 updates, and together they are probably the biggest leaps forward in Google’s AI lineup.
If your feed is anything like mine, the standout is Nano Banana Pro. Some of the images/examples being shared online are absolutely nuts!
It’s considered an ultra-efficient version of Gemini 3 built for fast, consistent image generation. If you’re already a Nano Banana user, it’s definitely worth trying. You get advanced text rendering, realistic lighting/shadows, 2K images, enhanced world knowledge (for things like diagrams and translation) and better character consistency.
But the bigger story is everything else that’s come with Gemini 3:
AI Studio
Google’s AI Studio is an environment for testing prompts, generating assets, vibe coding, and moving ideas into production. Basically a Lovable dupe, and central workbench for anything Gemini-powered.
More integrations
Third-party tools like Adobe Firefly and Photoshop will now use Gemini 3 for image editing.
Better consistency and reasoning
Gemini 3 and Nano Banana Pro are much better with branding, characters, and text. You can finally tell it what text should appear and how it should look. (e.g., "The headline 'URBAN EXPLORER' rendered in bold, white, sans-serif font at the top.")
I am excited to see all the ways ecom brands will use Google’s AI Studio. If you’re using it in creative ways, respond to this email and let me know!
And whether you love or hate the idea of AI-generated imagery (I’ll leave the morality debate to you) Gemini’s capabilities just got a whole lot better.
P.S. If you want to try Nano Banana Pro, there is a ton of buzz around Higgsfield AI. And they’re running a Black Friday sale. This is not a sponsored post, but I wanted to share. You can do some pretty crazy things with it.
STORE OF THE WEEK
Breathewave case study
About a month ago, Breathewave launched their brand new store.
Their biggest focus was getting customers to subscribe. But most customers have never used a nasal dilator before, so they need to try it first, find their size, then subscribe. And, with the out-of-the-box subscription options, shoppers were likely to pick the wrong product or the wrong delivery frequency.
Here’s how we helped design and build a store to solve those issues:
Two connected product pages (one for Starter Pack, another for Refills) so it’s super clear for customers
Custom subscription logic based on supply length
Product education built into the PDP so customers understand what it is and how to use it
A clean, calming design that makes the product feel premium and trustworthy
OPEN ROLES AT PLATTER

SHOPIFY NEWS THIS WEEK
Select Shopify stores are now live on ChatGPT
OpenAI’s Instant Checkout feature is live on a handful of Shopify brands after weeks of silence. Glossier, SPANX, and SKIMS are the first wave, with “more rolling out very soon,” according to Shopify President Harley Finkelstein.
This is all powered by the Agentic Commerce Protocol (built by OpenAI and Stripe), which lets AI agents handle product discovery and single-item checkout right inside the chat window. Multi-item carts are coming later.
OpenAI will take a small fee on these purchases, though no one knows the exact cut yet.
It’s not rolling out to all merchants just yet, but the fact that Shopify stores are finally live inside ChatGPT is a big step.
SHOUTOUT OF THE WEEK
Neuro x Formula 1
Neuro just landed in the F1 paddock on Yuki Tsunoda’s helmet. A massive moment for the brand and we wanted to take a moment to give them a shoutout!
That’s it for our Tuesday issue.
Hope y’all have a good week and early BFCM campaigns are cranking.
