How would you rate your PDP?

Welcome to this Friday’s edition of the Platter Newsletter, where we share the best design, storefront inspo, and UX on Shopify.
In this issue
This week we’re highlighting three excellent product pages (PDPs). Each one does something smart to help customers open their wallets.
What’s a PDP? It’s your product detail page (aka your product page). The place where most customers decide to buy or bounce.
We’ve polled our team and found three of their favorite product pages from Shopify this week. Here’s what made the list:
🖥️ Rally’s video gallery
👠 Lulu’s ‘complete the look’
💰 Lambs & Ivy’s clickable cross-sells
Rally shows and sells with video
What we love about this page:
Rally knows shoppers have questions, so they built the PDP to answer with high-quality videos for everything from features to instructions to a demo of the attachments.
No one’s reading a wall of specs anymore. Rally turns video into an interactive Q&A, right in the hero. And pairs it with benefit-focused text on the right side instead of using a vanilla product description.
The video quality is spectacular, and stacks really well on mobile.
Lulu’s PDP is the perfect outfit planner
What we love about this page:
The Complete the Look module is visible on desktop and pairs perfectly with the image gallery above.
The double product image in the carousel. Why show only one image when people want to see two?
The level of details in the Size & Fit section on the right covering things like stretch and even recommended undergarments.
Lambs & Ivy’s PDP turns the whole room into an upsell
What we love about this page:
Lambs & Ivy lets you shop an entire nursery like it’s an Instagram tag. Click any product in the room and add it to your cart in one tap.
For busy parents, this is gold. No hunting through categories, just "I want that nursery" → done.
Plus the Frequently Bought Together and You Might Also Like modules add even more cross-sell real estate.
